Role: CNC/Manual Grinder

Salary:£38,000-£45,000 per annum + Overtime

Hours: 4.5 day working week, 39 hours per week.

Monday-Thursday 08.00-17.00, Friday 08.00-13.00 + Overtime Available

Location: Poole, Dorset

Interaction have partnered with an industry leading Motorsports manufacturing client that have been in operation for over 50 years. The client offer a huge range of motor expertise, engineering capabilities alongside driving a family orientated ethos & culture for their employees. Due to expansion, we are supporting this client in recruiting for an CNC/Manual Cylindrical Grinder on a full time permanent basis.

The Role:

· Set & Operate Manual Grinders including Myford, Shipman & Jones Grinders with the ability to work with Abrasive wheels
· Working to tight tolerances for low volume production & small diameter based journals
· Program, set and operate CNC Grinding machines
· The use MRP Systems to book on/off work cards
· Share ideas & collaborate within a team to ensure a warm company culture


What we need from you:

· Previous experience as a Manual Grinder with a good understanding of small batch work (Essential)
· Ability to work with hand tools (Power Drills etc) & read/interpret technical drawings
· Solid understanding of grinding processes and wheel specifications
· Previous experience in Motorsport engineering - advantageous
