We are currently recruiting for experienced Press Brake Setter/Operators using Amada machines in Chard to start as soon as possible. Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right person. 

Shift: 

• Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday 08:00 to 14:00 

Pay: 

• From £13 to £16 per hour - depending on experience 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

• Ability to set machine in most effective way. 
• Skilled machine operator with LVD experience or similar
• Knowledge of machine tooling.
• Reliable with good time keeping and attendance.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Selection and setting of tools for parts to be produced.
• Run first off part from program and carry out first off inspection.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested.
