***HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER REQUIRED FOR MATERNITY COVER - IMMEDIATE START***

Interaction Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a dynamic and exciting well-established business and recognisable named business based in Coventry. Our client is based just outside of the city centre (so no traffic in the morning!!!), in a modern and well-equipped contact centre (Subsidised cafe and vending machines).

Due to the maternity leave our client is looking for a HR Manager to provide cover for at least 9 months.

ROLE SUMMARY:

 

Leads the Human Resources team in Coventry, coaching and supporting team members.

Works in partnership with leaders and line managers in relation to resourcing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, leadership development and succession, HR systems and data management across multiple sites.

Expected to demonstrate a powerful leadership role in developing an engagement culture throughout the Company.

Assists the Senior Director, Human Resources with initiatives as required.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Manage a small HR team and coordinate a range of initiatives through the broader HR function.

  2. Attract and retain talent in a competitive market for specialist skills. In particular, development and implementation of our retention strategy.

  3. Advise business leaders on the people implications of business initiatives, projects, policies and procedures.

  4. Develop and deliver high value people initiatives which align with the achievement of the business goals.

  5. Lead the design and implementation of a strategic development agenda Lead HR projects within the business to deliver solutions to business requirements working with relevant business areas as required.

  6. Coach line managers to develop their people management capability.

  7. Partner with senior line management to lead and facilitate change initiatives as required.

  8. Produce and analyse management information for the business.

    PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

  • CIPD level 7 or equivalent

  • Coaching, supporting and influencing senior managers

  • Managing complex Employee Relations matters up to appeal and employment tribunal including TUPE and redundancy

  • Experience of managing and developing a small HR and recruitment team

  • Proven ability to consult with external third parties such as clients and auditors

  • Managing and analyse budget data information
