Class 2 Dustcart Driver – Wembley (HA0 1ES)

Pay: £21.29 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Wembley, HA0 1ES
Shifts: Monday to Friday

• 06:00 – 14:00 (Early Shift) or
• 14:00 – 22:00 (Late Shift)

We are currently recruiting Class 2 Dustcart Drivers on behalf of one of the UK's leading waste management companies based in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time, ongoing role with the potential to become a permanent employee after a successful 12-week qualifying period.

Whether you're an experienced HGV Class 2 driver or have recently passed your test, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of commercial and household waste across designated routes in the local area. You will work closely with a team of loaders, ensuring collections are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.

Your Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Collecting household and commercial waste on planned routes.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Following all road transport, health & safety, and environmental regulations.
• Providing a professional and courteous service while working in residential and commercial areas.
• Completing all required paperwork and complying with company procedures.

Requirements

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.
• Aged 21 years or over (for insurance purposes).
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Good communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude.
• Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.
