Our client is seeking a proven Regional Sales Manager to cover the South East, candidates must live in the South East area and have experience working alongside a distributor network with a proven background in sales.
As the Regional Sales Manager you will manage the clients business in the South East region and develop the existing customer base and increase sales and profitability in line with or ideally exceeding budget. You will be home based, already living in the South east area and you will manage and develop the existing customer base, whilst identifying and exploiting new business opportunities.
Principal Accountabilities
· To maintain and improve sales
· To maintain and improve relationships with existing distributors
· To increase distribution wherever necessary
· To work effectively with Customer Services and Manufacturing departments
· To report effectively on regional activities.
Skills and Experience Required
· Experience in selling system solutions and capital equipment would be beneficial
· Experience of working within the packaging industry.
· You must be computer literate with outstanding communication skills.
· Sales and/or marketing qualification would be an advantage
· Selling skills and ability to build relationships
· Minimum of five years selling experience
· Experience of selling through distribution
· IT literacy
· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential
· Ability to work with minimum supervision
· Analytical skills and the ability to problem solve
· Works well under pressure and on own initiative
· Positive attitude and pragmatic approach
